Hardox 450 is a wear resistant steel plate that’s high strength and abrasion resistant. Especially hardened to ensure a long wear life, this plate offers superb cold bending and welding properties and can withstand high impact, boasting a nominal hardness of 450 HBW. As a result, its load-bearing capacity means it is often utilised for a variety of applications – including as a material in industrial equipment that is frequently subjected to wear, such as conveyors, dump truck bodies, hoppers and feeders, bulldozers, rail road cars, chutes, and crushers.
