What is Mn12 High Manganese Wear Resistant Steel?
Mn12 steel is an austenitic manganese steel, also known as Hadfield steel, that typically contains about 11-14% manganese and about 1% carbon. The high manganese content contributes to the steel’s excellent work-hardening capabilities and outstanding toughness, which increases when used under impact and abrasive conditions.
